The 5022 datasheet limits certain card technologies to CSN reading. DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3 support has stated conditions: AID and elementary files must not be protected or encrypted.

Business deployment
Review the card, endpoint and application before deployment. A reader does not automatically turn an existing badge into a FIDO2 authenticator; the credential and authentication system must support the intended use.
